Eikichi & Okubo Chapter 65: "War, War, War (Part 3)" A swollen-faced Okubo cries out that he gives up as Eikichi keeps on pounding him. Eikichi declares that he can beg as much as he wants but the beating will not stop. Eikichi grabs the pole and charges at Okubo, declaring that he will rip Okubo's head off. He reveals to Okubo that he came here to stop Okubo from playing dirty, not to help him. Otsupo tells him that Kyokuto High no longer respects him and that his time is over. Eikichi knocks Okubo's teeth out and tells him that it is his turn to die. Eikichi carries on attacking, despite Okubo's pleas. Otsupo tells Asakura to watch Eikichi and states that this is why they respect the Oni-baku. Despite being young, they are the real thing. Seizing the opportunity, Okubo stabs Eikichi in the arm with his knife but receives a massive uppercut from Eikichi. He falls and lies still and Eikichi declares that no one messes with him. Ryuji tells him that even though he's getting married, he will come to aid Eikichi whenever he is in trouble. As Eikichi and the others celebrate, Ryuji jumps on his bike to go to Ayumi and declares that Eikichi is awesome. Eikichi states that its obvious since he is the main character of the story. |

Kikumaru introduces Tsukai to Hattori, his senpai from third year and number ten from the Yamiko-Tei gang. Kikumaru states that they should go get a coffee but Tsukai declines, saying that he is waiting for a girl. Hattori calls Tsukai worthless for not having the guts to make a girl wait. At the cafe, Kikumaru reminisces about their time as the Four Emperors of P. S. 4 in junior high and Tsukai states that he no longer does that sort of thing. Upon learning where Tsukai goes to school, Hattori insults Tsujido and the Oni-baku, saying that the Yamiko-Tei gang can take them down any day. Tsukai tells Hattori to shut up and Kikumaru tries to change the subject by asking Tsukai about the girl he was waiting for. He tells him that the girl is Itou, from Kamakura P. S. 5 and Hattori states that he can't believe Tsukai is going out with her. Tsukai demands to know why and Hattori reveals that she was known as Yamiko-Tei's radio taxi because all they had to do was call her and the gang could do anything with her. An angry Tsukai tells Hattori to shut up and Hattori continues to taunt Tsukai. Tsukai demands that they settle this outside. Hattori reminds him that he is part of the Yamiko-Tei gang and Tsukai leaves without a word. Hattori laughs and calls him a wimp. Tsukai returns and smashes a bottle over Hattori's head. He states that he doesn't care about the Yamiko-Tei gang and that no one insults his girlfriend. He tells Kikumaru that he doesn't care what Itou did in the past but if he sees Hattori around this area again, he'll get more than just a smash over the head. He states that if the Yamiko-Tei gang wants to find him, he'll be at Tsujido High and that he won't run away. Kikumaru states that Tsukai has changed but Tsukai tells him that he was the one who has changed and leaves to meet Itou. An angry Itou chides him for being over and hour late and they missed the movie. They head off to eat and Tsukai thinks over how he doesn't care about Itou's past because he loves her. |

Chapter 71: "Baby, Got to Run!! (Part 1)" In Makoto's house, his mum leaves snacks outside his room as she doesn't want to interrupt his study session. Inside the room, a girl in nothing but bra and underwear tells a half naked Makoto that he is horrible for lying to his mum. She gets dressed and tells Makoto to call her as she leaves. Makoto decides that it is time to break up with her and move onto the next girl. He gets dressed and leaves the house, telling his mother he's going to borrow a library book. He gets interrupted by a girl named Mami, who has something to tell him. Makoto tells her that they have already broken up and she reveals that her period hasn't come and that she may be pregnant. A petrified Makoto states that he didn't do anything with her and she reminds him that they both got drunk one night. Before having sex, Mami states that she will only do it with the one she marries and a drunken Makoto hastily tells her that he will marry her. Makoto panics and Mami tells him it's not a mistake as he was her first time. She reminds him of his promise to marry her and states that fate brought them back together. Makoto reasons that they are still in high school but Mami declares that they can run away and get a job to look after the baby. She tells a petrified Makoto that she loves him and asks him to marry her. The following day at home, Makoto tries to come up with a way out. He meets up with Eikichi at a cafe to ask for some advice. Before he can tell Eikichi the whole story, Eikichi spots Asakura and Natsumi and greets them. Asakura tells them that he has decided to quit school and get a job so he can marry Natsumi. He states that he is going to be a father soon and he wants to make it up to Natsumi. Makoto states that Asakura will regret it but Eikichi says that is what a real man should do and congratulates Asakura. He tells Asakura that if he ever ditches Natsumi, he will personally track him down and kill him, which scares Makoto as he is in the same situation. Eikichi reveals that he beat up someone in junior high for dumping his pregnant girlfriend and that if Asakura sees anyone like that, let him know. Makoto tries to sneak off and Eikichi tells him to stop as this is helpful advice. Asakura and Natsumi leave and Eikichi asks Makoto what kind of advice he was asking. As Makoto tries to make something up, they hear a knock outside the window. Makoto sees a happy Mami pointing at a baby magazine and surmises that it is all over for him. |
