It's official, Vertical (publisher) is continuing SJG where Tokyopop left off (deluxe double volumes), with Volume 11 having a release date of 21st Feb, 2012. With a release every 2 months, we will finally see the end of SJG by October, 2012. Shonan 14 Days Volume 1 will be released 31st Jan, 2012, also with bi-monthly volume releases.

Great news! SJG (Shonan Junai Gumi) and S14D (Shonan 14 Days, a kind of side story to GTO) is being picked up by English publisher Vertical. Which means that we will be getting new English releases of SJG ever since Tokyopop lost their licence to SJG. SJG will be released February 2012, with a new volume every two months. Now, it is currently unknown whether Vertical will be starting from scratch or continuing where Tokyopop left off but once it catches up, more site content will be added to keep up with the English releases.
