Kamata & Fumiya Chapter 45: "Oni-baku, Two Guys" Fumiya states that since he was hit by Kamata, the stabbing is just self defence. Kamata falls and Fumiya declares that the Oni-baku are next. At the hospital, Ayumi reveals to Ryuji her pre-arranged marriage and that she will be quitting teaching. She chides herself for betraying her ex-boyfriend while Ryuji insists that she is lying. Elsewhere, Eikichi continues interrogating Kyokuto High students about Fumiya's whereabouts and is interrupted by news of Kamata's stabbing. He gets delivered a message from the Tsujido High student Kamata was protecting: bring Ryuji and meet Fumiya at midnight at the old Hayama Junior High site and that he could easily take the Oni-baku down by himself. Kamata warns him of Fumiya's ruthlessness and collapses. Back at the hospital, Ryuji questions Ayumi why she is marrying despite not loving the person. Ayumi replies that she doesn't want to be alone anymore and can't forget her ex-boyfriend. Ryuji promises that he can make her forget about him but she sadly declines. She tells him that she likes him as well and thanks him for everything. She bids him farewell and leaves. An angry Ryuji smashs the wall and triggers the fire sprinklers. Eikichi finds Ryuji to tell him the news and Ryuji interrupts him, revealing Ayumi's rejection. He tells Eikichi that he should forget about Ayumi and Eikichi tells him that she's not yet married and that he shouldn't give up so easily. Eikichi leaves and goes after Fumiya alone, reasoning that Ryuji isn't up for a fight right now. Eikichi visits Saejima and Kamata in hospital and promises them that he will get revenge. He then leaves, promising that he will end everything tonight, regardless of how many guys Fumiya has rounded up. |

Chapter 46: "The Dead End" At the Hamaya Junior High site, Eikichi arrives and Fumiya asks where Ryuji is. Eikichi states that he is giving Fumiya a handicap. Fumiya declares that he is already at an advantage as dozens of riders emerge from the darkness behind him. Eikichi takes two down without breaking a sweat and declares that he'll take down anyone that comes at him. At the train station remembers Ryuji's words as she prepares to leave. She overhears Tsukai, Abe and Makoto discussing the whether the Oni-baku went to fight Fumiya without telling them. Ayumi rushes towards Hayama in a taxi and questions why Fumiya is doing this when she is the one he wants. We cut back to Eikichi, who has knocked down more than half of the Kyokuto High guys. The remainders cowers back and Eikichi charges at Fumiya. However, he is jumped on by everyone at once and they hold him back. He fights them off and notices a chain attached to his belt, the other end attaching to Fumiya's bike. Just as Eikichi realises what is happening, Fumiya starts his engine and rides off, dragging EIkichi on the road with him. To everyone's surprise, Eikichi grabs the chain and begins pulling himself closer towards Fumiya. Fumiya swerves the bike and Eikichi hits a concrete block and lets go of the chain. A while later, Ayumi arrives at Hayama and spots Eikichi lying in a pool of his own blood.
