Chapter 180: "Slow Love" At school, Eikichi and Ryuji tries to apologise to a run down Tsukai for the misunderstandings and Katsuyuki tells them not to bother. They are interrupted by Sakaki, who tells Eikichi to apologise to him instead and enjoys another beating from Eikichi. Tsukai is left to brood alone and he is surprised by Yui, who grabs his balls and remarks how they’ve shrunk. She asks an embarrassed Tsukai if he feels better and declares that she came to cheer him up. Tsukai asks if they are officially dating and Yui tells him not to worry about stuff like that before rushing off to buy them some ice-cream. Tsukai asks if he could kiss her. She says yes without hesitation and Tsukai surmises that she should be a little coyer, being a high school girl and all. They are interrupted by Maraguchi and Kohgami, two of the Four Kings of Enoshima, Tsukai’s junior high. Maraguchi reveals that he is now part of the Blue Rose gang from Yokosuka and informs Yui that Tsukai was once his junior until Nakajo took a liking to him, causing Tsukai to treat them like punks. Maraguchi declares that he wants to make it clear who’s on top and lands a punch across Tsukai’s face. Tsukai quietly tells Yui to go home. Yui protests, pointing out that Tsukai still hasn’t recovered from his fight with Katsuyuki but Tsukai tells her to go, saying he doesn’t want her to see it. As Yui leaves, Tsukai knocks Maraguchi down with a hook, declaring that it is time to remind the two who the strongest in Enoshima Junior High was. He blocks a punch from Kohgami but is tripped by a recovering Maraguchi, who stomps Tsukai in the stomach. As Kohgami holds Tsukai still, Maraguchi delivers punch after punch. He receives a headbutt in the face by Tsukai and is surprised to see Kohgami already knocked out. Sometime later, a weakened Tsukai rests beside his unconscious opponents. He is interrupted by Yui, who returns with a bat and states that she came to see the outcome of her boyfriend’s fight. As yui declares that she’ll nurse him back to health, Tsukai makes up his mind to stake his life on Yui. |

Chapter 181: "Enoshima Line Theater" Yasuo gets on the train at Enoshima station and expresses his dislike at the Enoshima Commercial High students’ overall attitude. However, he restrains himself, stating he doesn’t want to upset Eikichi. On the train, he notices one of the students staring at him and he stares back. Tension runs high and the Enoshima High student provokes Yasuo, stating that Nakajo takes good care of Enoshima. Yasuo declares that he can take on Nakajo anytime and that the Oni-baku runs the show around here. No longer able to withhold their hatred, the two stand up face to face and decide to get off at the next station to settle the score. The door opens and closes at Shichirigahama station, yet neither one gets off, both accusing the other of being scared. Yasuo contemplates whether he should take him on, wary that he might be stronger than he looks as the guy claims to be fresh out of juvie. However, he decides that he can’t back down and gets up to attack. However, they are interrupted by a girl named Matsumi, the Enoshima High student, Kazumasa’s, girlfriend. She tells Kazumasa to teach Tsujido High a lesson. Yasuo tells her to shut up and Matsumi declares that her boyfriend will kill Yasuo. As a nervous Kazumasa listens on, Matsumi tells Yasuo how Kazumasa told her that he is a legend that can lift up cars during their first sexual encounter. Matsumi tells Kazumasa to take Yasuo out with his koppo-jutsu and Yasuo laughs at him, feeling foolish for thinking he is dangerous. He declares that he will expose Kazumasa as a fraud to his girlfriend and they are interrupted by Mayumi, Yasuo’s girlfriend, who states that Yasuo promised to let her watch his thousandth fight and show her his killer capoeira moves that took down a thousand men. Kazumasa mocks Yasuo’s equally ridiculous claims as their two girlfriends argue over who took down more Yakuza guys. They are overheard by an actual Yakuza, who beats both Yasuo and Kazumasa up. |

Chapter 182: "Passionate Blast Serenade" Eikichi gets repeatedly rejected by random girls and Tsukai questions if Eikichi is with Shinomi. Ryuji states that Eikichi is sour about him and Nagisa. Shinomi walks by and Eikichi asks her to play doctor. She hits him after he is rejected and tells her he wants a girl that is good for him anyway. She tells Eikichi not to group her with the easy girls and Ryuji surmises that it looks like Eikichi will be a virgin for the rest of high school. The next day, Shinomi expresses her frustration at the amount of low-IQ level of love letters stuffed in her locker, but one catches her eye, given to her by someone names Akira. She is interrupted by a girl from class A names Hayama, who marvels at her popularity. She reveals that she looks up to Shinomi and asks her if she is seeing anyone. Shinomi states that there are no good men at Tsujido High and a pleased looking Hayama thanks her and runs off. Shinomi decides to meet the mysterious Akira and heads to Benny’s on route 134. She is surprised to see Hayama, who reveals to be the author of the Akira love letter. Hayama tells an uncomfortable Shinomi that she only wants to talk. They are interrupted by Mamiko and Saki, two friends of Shinomi and Hayama gets up to leave after asking Shinomi to meet her by the school gate after school the next day. Mamiko and Saki reveal to a surprised Shinomi that Hayama is the Lesbian Queen of Class A, rumoured to drag many girls to the “other side” and can never return. They tell Shinomi to be careful but Shinomi dismisses it as ludicrous. The next day, Shinomi tries to avoid the front gate but is found by Hayama anyway and reluctantly follows her to a restaurant. There, Hayama asks a surprised Shinomi to deliver a love letter to Eikichi, revealing that she liked him for a while after he protected her from some bullies. She wanted to check if Eikichi was really going out with Shinomi and declares that she is serious about him. Shinomi reassures her that Eikichi is still single and promises to deliver the love letter, Shinomi smiles to herself and states that it is shocking that even a guy like Eikichi has girls falliong for him. |

Chapter 183: Cinderella Dream" As Shinomi thinks about her promise to Hayama, she is interrupted by Eikichi, who invites her to accompany him to the J-League with tickets he spent all night lining up for. Shinomi is moved but quickly recovers after Eikichi asks for sex in return and knocks him down. She quickly gives Eikichi the love letter and storms off. Sometime later, Shinomi waits at the bus stop in the rain and expresses her anger at how sex is the only thing on Eikichi’s mind. All of a sudden, a Mercedes pulls up besides her and a man named Hiroshi Kurita offers her a ride. Shinomi accepts and Kurita reveals that he works in the entertainment business, representing models. Despite Shinomi’s suspicions, Kurita buys her a new outfit and a new makeover. He tells her that pretty girls should wear clothes that make them look good and drops her off at home. A dazes Shinomi wonders if it is all a dream and her parents accuse her of shoplifting again. The next day at school, Eikichi thanks Shinomi for introducing him to Hayama and invites her to tea out of gratitude but she declines. As she walks out the door, she spots Hayama, who nods her head in thanks and Shinomi surmises that she should find a man for herself as well. Sometime later, Eikichi asks Shinomi to accompany him on his date with Hayama and they are interrupted by Kurita, who has come to pick up Shinomi at school with his Mercedes, Shinomi rides off with Kurita and tells an angry Eikichi to have fun on his childlish date. Eikichi declares that things will get hot with him and Hayama that night that will make Shinomi jealous. That night as Shinomi and Kurita have drinks at a hotel, Kurita presents Shinomi with a ring and requests her to meet up with him like this once in a while, stating that he may get serious with her. Before an embarrassed Shinomi can respond, Kurita’s phone rings and he steps out to take the call. Outside, he informs his “uncle” that he will organise everything in time and that Shinomi seems to completely trust him. Elsewhere, Hayama tries to drag Eikichi off to the next place and a puking Eikichi remarks that Hayama can handle her alcohol well. |

Chapter 184: "An Important Promise" Kurita drops Shinomi off and asks her to think about his request. The next day at school, the Oni-baku Gumi make fun of a hungover Eikichi. A cheerful Shinomi enters the class room and shows off her new ring to the group. She asks out loud about what she should do and a smiling Eikichi tells her to do what she wants. Shinomi agrees and gets up to meet Kurita. As she closes the door behind her, she calls Eikichi and idiot, stating that she could really become another man’s woman. Elsewhere, a group of men and Kurita load up a van with video equipment along with two young, half dazed girls. Kurita states that they’re done after he used the “key” on them. He tells the rest that only Shinomi is left and to stick to the plan. Eikichi, Ryuji and Tsukai walk by and Eikichi recognises Kurita. He asks Ryuji to take Hayama to the zoo in his stead and rushes off, stating that he has business to take care of. Sometime later, two of Kurita’s men comments on Kurita’s harshness of drugging high school girls and whoring them out whilst taking a leak. They argue on who gets first dibs on the girls after Kurita is done with them and is interrupted by Eikichi, who has heard everything. An impatient Kurita ponders where his men have gone and heads into the men’s bathroom to find both of them knocked out. He is confronted by Eikichi who flushes his head in the toilet and tells him that he will kill Kurita if he comes near Shinomi again, taking his ID and his details. Elsewhere, Shinomi waits for Kurita and realises that she has been stood up. She is interrupted by Eikichi, who tells Shinomi that Hayama was busy so he was also stood up. The two mock each other and head off to get a drink together. Elsewhere, a drenched Kurita pulls out a knife and declares that will kill Eikichi. He is stopped by Kashiya, much to his surprise. |

Eikichi, Ryuji, Ken, Katsuyuki, Nakajo & Kashiya Chapter 185: "Creeping Shadow" At a bike gathering, Kashiya welcomes the Skanda group to the Yokosuka Blue Rose gang and a blonde man asks why he would bother with such small fry. Sometime later, Kashiya meets with his dad, who tells him to stop playing around and prove that he is ready to inherit the business. Kashiya requests for a bit more time as he found an interesting guy he wants to test. Elsewhere, Eikichi and Ryuji visits a restaurant called Cafe Speed, owned by a couple names Toshihiko Machiruda and Misako, who use to be part of the pre-Midnight Angels Speed gang. Machiruda asks Eikichi if he has seen his father as he was recently spotted in Shonan and Eikichi replies that he doesn’t have a father. We cut to a bandaged Kurita and his gang entering the arcade where Katsuyuki, Yasuo and Saegusa are playing video games. The group surrounds the K. T. Butai and asks for Eikichi and the K. T. Butai tries to escape. However, Kurita grabs Katsuyuki and slams his head into the game screen and tells Yasuo and Saegusa that if they want Katsuyuki back, bring them Eikichi along with three million yen, As Yasuo and Saegusa starts to panic, Kashiya watches from the shadows and is interrupted by Nakajo, who asks him what he is planning with Eikichi. He tells Nakajo that a man once build a legend in Shonan and he wants to see who is next to take the reins, Nakajo, Eikichi, or himself. Back at Cafe Speed, Machiruda remarks how much Eikichi is starting to resemble his father as the Oni-baku take a smoke in the back room. The doorbell rings and Kurita and his men enters, asking for Eikichi. Machiruda demands to know who they are and Kurita knocks over a table, declaring that he will wreck the place until they start talking. |

Chapter 186: "What It Means To Be A Man" Machiruda asks Misako for permission and she tells him he can only for today. He grabs one of Kurita’s men and declares that nothing scares Speed’s Machiruda. They are interrupted by the Oni-baku and Kurita calmly informs them that they have Katsuyuki. He informs Eikichi that he has one hour to bring the money or else they take Katsuyuki’s ear and leaves. Machiruda and Misako asks if EIkichi wants any help and Eikichi states that he will just go talk to them. He tells Ryuji to stay as he would feel more comfortable going alone. He tells a confused Machiruda that he borrowed that “thing” before riding off. Upon realising what Eikichi meant, he calls Eikichi an idiot. He calls for Ryuji to follow Eikichi, stating that Eikichi really means to kill or be killed. Elsewhere, Kurita taunts a shaking and bruised Katsuyuki as he waits for Eikichi. Eikichi arrives dressed in a white coat and Kurita demands where the money is. Eikichi gets to his knees and apologises, stating that Katsuyuki has nothing to do with it. As a horrified Katsuyuki watches on, Kurita slams a knife onto the table and tells Eikichi to cut off a finger if he can’t pay. Eikichi declares that his finger will cost Kurita and to everyone’s surprise, he grabs the knife and proceeds to chop off his finger. They are interrupted by Matsuoka, Kurita’s boss, who tells Eikichi to stop and the knife barely misses his finger. Kurita asks if Matsuoka is sure and he retorts that Kurita still doesn’t get it. He states that Eikichi has balls and that Eikichi is not scared of anything at this instant, even death, reminding him of his younger self. He pulls down Eikichi’s coat to reveal a hidden bat and understands why his uncle, Kashiya, has his eye on Eikichi. He tells Eikichi that when he’s tired of child’s play, come join him and leaves. Sometime later, Eikichi carries Katsuyuki home on his back and apologises. Katsuyuki states that he will follow Eikichi for the rest of his life. |

Chapter 187: "I’ll Be Back" Makato shows off his new Kawasaki ZRX with SP combat assemblage to his new freshman friends, having finally gotten back the money Saejima ripped him off previously. They are interrupted by Katsuyuki, who demands to have a go on the new bike. A reluctant Makoto agrees and Katsuyuki rides if carelessly, breaking the mirror and turn signal. As Makoto cries over the damages, Katsuyuki laughs it off as medals of honor and starts doing burnouts, showing Makoto how real men ride. They are watched on by a long haired man from across the street. Makoto accidentally bumps Katsuyuki’s bike and he goes crazy, threatening to send Makoto’s new bike to the scrapyard. The long haired man intervenes with his Yamaha V-Max and tells Katsuyuki that freshmen shouldn’t mess with their seniors. Makoto recognises the man as Shindoji Fumiya, Ayumi’s younger brother, fresh out of juvie. He tells Makoto to take Katsuyuki’s bike and lead him to Ryuji’s house. Katsuyuki tells Fumiya to back off and gets knocked out by Fumiya with one punch. As petrified Makoto tries to lead Fumiya in circles, and to his surprise, Ryuji appears on his bike beside Fumiya at a traffic light. The two men spot each other starts racing as soon as the lights turn green. They end in a drawer and hug each other, stating its been too long as Makoto slumps onto the ground. |

Chapter 188: "The One From Juvie" Ryuji brings Fumiya home and introduces him to Nagisa, much to Eikichi and Saejima’s displeasure. Fumiya recognises Saejima and Saejima declares that he can;t rest until he has shoved pencils up Fumiya’s nose. Eikichi tells him to forgive Fumiya and a fuming Saejima demands Eikichi to offer up his nose instead. Fumiya mentions meeting Akutsu in jail and Nagisa stops in her tracks. Ryuji tells Fumiya that they shouldn’t mention Akutsu around Nagisa and Fumiya requests a word with Ryuji alone. The two men step outside and without a word, Fumiya punches Ryuji across the face. He informs that Ayumi told him what happened and although it wasn’t Ryuiji’s fault, he broke his promise to Fumiya. Ryuji asks if Ayumi is doing okay and Fumiya tells him that Ayumi wants Ryuji to be happy. Fumiya gets up to leave, informing a surprised Ryuji that he’s helping Akutsu break out of jail that night. He tells Ryuji to watch the two of them team up and do something that will shock even the Oni-baku. He also tells Ryuji to visit Ayumi in Shonan, despite her telling Fumiya not to mention her return, before riding off. Nagisa calls Ryuji in for dinner and senses that something is wrong. Ryuji reassures her nothing is wrong and thinks to himself that he has Nagisa now. They are watched from afar by Nagisa’s parents, who express their disbelief at their daughter living with a delinquent. At Urayasu Harbor in Yokosuka, Ken is selling home made Oni-baku stickers to randoms, stating that no one will touch those with Oni-baku stickers on their bikes. He is approached by a darked skinned man riding an SR. Ken spots a skull tattoo on his arm and recognises him as Joey. Joey grabs Ken’s face and states that he will take all the stickers. The next day at school, Ryuji, Saejima and Eikichi are surprised to see money stuffed into Eikichi’s locker with a memo from Joey for sticker payment. Attached to the money is a photo of a beaten and tied up Ken with Oni-baku stickers littered all around him. |
