Chapter 108: "Kiyoma the Psychic" Samehara and Haramurata arrive at Tsujido High looking for Makoto. They are confronted by Kamata and Saejima, who challenges the intruders. They are interrupted by a Tsujido High student that only Samehara recognises as Kiyoma, a third year. A gust of wind starts up as Kiyoma challenges Samehara to a fight, which scares him and he leaves with Haramurata, surprising Kamata and Saejima. Later, they ask Tsukai, who also has no idea who Kiyoma is. They are approached by a third year named Moro Hiro, who introduces himself as the president of the Supernatural Research Society. He reveals that Kiyoma is a psychic with strong supernatural powers and tells them about an incident in the past in which some boys who went after Kiyoma all got hospitalised a week later with unknown causes. Other stories say that Kiyoma is connected to many unexplained occurrences. Moro tells them to be careful and offers to show them proof. Later, Moro, Tsukai, Saejima and Kamata watch Kiyoma in class. Some girls walk past Kiyoma and a sudden gust of wind enters the classroom. Kiyoma utters "white", referring to the girls' underwear color and Moro reveals that Kiyoma's power is wind. A group of guys confront Kiyoma and they are stopped in their tracks, with their shirt buttons flying off. Scared, they back off and Tsukai, Saejima and Kamata marvel at Kiyoma's powers. Later, the group follow Kiyoma down the street, hoping to get him to teach them his powers. They see some metal bars fall from the sky as Kiyoma passes a construction site and miraculously survives, with none of the bars hitting him. As the group tells Moro to introduce them, Kiyoma is approached by a group of bikers looking for trouble. Saejima stands up to defend Kiyoma and Kiyoma tells the bikers to back off. The bikers mock him and Kiyoma readies his attack. As everyone tries to back away, Kiyoma screams and the biker's shirt buttons start flying off. Realising that was all Kiyoma can do, Saejima punches Kiyoma in the face and Tsukai and Kamata turn against Moro. The bikers are speechless as they watch on. |
