Danma Ryuji & Onizuka Eikichi Chapter 1: "(Last) Resort Lovers of Yoron Island" Introduces the protagonists, Danma Ryuji and Onizuka Eikichi. While initially appearing to be kicked out of Shonan Kyokuto High School, it is revealed that the Oni-baku combo, Ryuji and Eikichi, plan to leave their delinquent ways behind in order to pick up chicks and lose their virginity. Their first step? Getting new haircuts and a summer job at the beach resort on Yoron Island! There, they encounter a group of young men harassing two girls. The duo deal with the problem without "violence" and impress the two girls, who reveal their names to be Mariko and Ayumi and that they despise violent bullies, much to the Oni-baku's luck. Later on a cruise, Mariko tries to convince the unwilling Ayumi to have some fun with the Oni-baku. The Oni-baku arrive and further impress Mariko by pretending to be med students. Ayumi, however, remains firmly uninterested. While Eikichi enjoys the company of Mariko, Ryuji wanders towards Ayumi and attempts to comfort her. He somewhat succeeds and she agrees to let go of her worries and have fun. Later that evening, the two couples hit the Sky Love club. While the guys go on a toilet break, Mariko convinces Ayumi to let go of her past and have fun with the two guys they just met. Ayumi goes off to find Ryuji and tells him she wants to be alone with him later. That night, both Eikichi and Ryuji have the girls alone all to themselves. However, just when they are about to make their move, both have sudden bowel motions, requiring them to dash for the toilet. There, they encounter a brief dispute with some thugs known as the Kanto boys and beat them up. In the hotel, Mariko and Ayumi are impressed with the Oni-baku, thinking of them to be gentlemen. Back in the Oni-baku's room, the duo jerk off to some porn and become more determined to lose their virginity after being so close.
Chapter 2: "(Last) Resort Lovers of Yoron Island (Part 2)" The Oni-baku reflect on their wasted opportunity with Ayumi and Mariko the previous night. Much to their surprise, the two girls shows up to greet them. The four spend their day in the water swimming and diving. Later, at the Disco Sexy Club, Eikichi and Ryuji once again ask the girls permission to come to their room later that night and succeeds. Just when things are going smooth, the Kanto boys from the previous night recognise the Oni-baku and seek revenge. When things go out of hand, the duo is forced to use violence to deal with the Kanto boys and reveal that they are the Onibaku combo from Kyokuto High. Ayumi and Mariko are shocked to find that they have been tricked by high school students. We cut to the end of summer and the first day of the Oni-baku's new school, Shonan Tsujido High School, where the duo are shocked to find that Ayumi and Mariko are teachers at the school, both of whom are equally as shocked.
Chapter 3: "New Faces Run to Ruin" Both parties are enraged at finding each other at Shonan Tsujido High. When class starts, the Oni-baku put on a phony charade to impress the girls of their new class. The two teachers, Ayumi and Mariko, are suspicious of the Oni-baku's intentions and are determined to bring out their true colours. They approach some delinquents and bribe them into taking the Onibaku down. However, the delinquents are simply scared off by just discovering the Oni-baku's identity. The teachers move on to their next plan: putting up an embarrassing poster of the Oni-baku in their younger days, making them the laughingstock of every girl in their class. In the teacher's staff room Mariko comments on how much happier Ayumi has been since last year. On the way home, Eikichi proposes their plan of counter-attack: blackmail the teachers into having sex with them or getting the Yoron Island incident exposed. Back in Ayumi's home, she looks at photos taken during the summer on Yoron Island and reminisces on how fun it was.
Chapter 4: "The Blonde Wolf Rises Once Again!" In the teacher's staffroom, Mariko and Ayumi discover a blackmail letter and details of the motel. Ayumi appears flustered at the thought of having sex with Ryuji. That night, Eikichi, all dressed up in a suit, arrives at the motel room. He nervously enters the room and is surprised to see a figure already lying on the bed. He gets pulled into bed and his lover turns him around, with him bent over. Eikichi is puzzled by this, questioning that the girl should be in this position and is petrified to see that his lover is a large, muscly, tattooed man who tells him to stay still and threatens him with a knife. Outside, Ayumi hears screams of terror and questions Mariko on what is going on. Mariko reveals that the two guys she arranged were gays from her father's Triad. Ayumi states that teachers shouldn't be doing things like this and rushes off. Back in the motel, Ryuji stands outside Ayumi's room and decides not to enter. He leaves and runs into Ayumi. The two get into an argument and both reveal common thoughts, bringing the two closer together. In Mariko's room, Eikichi begs that his first time is not to be with a man.
Chapter 5: "Overheat Night!" While waiting in the car, Mariko gets cold feet and rush back to her room to save Eikichi. She gets confronted with a beaten up Sabu, the gay Triad member and a crazed Eikichi. Eikichi faints just as he is about to lunge at her. Mariko fixes up Eikichi's wounds and praises his determination. At a hotel room, Ayumi is taking a shower and Ryuji confirms that she is not with him because of pity. Ayumi confides that her previous boyfriend passed away but that was all in the past. She steps out of the shower only to discover a note on the wall saying Ryuji has gone home. She chides him for being a fool. As he is walking through the city, Ryuji is bullied by a gang of thugs and beats them up. As he rides off on his motorbike, he reflects that he'll know nothing about women in the centuries to come. His distracted thoughts cause him to fall off his bike. The next day at school, a crying Eikichi sees Ryuji's wounds and whimper about his pain and suffering from last night. Ryuji sees Ayumi in the hallway and they both smile.
Chapter 6: "Goodbye Tender Youth" Introduces Tsukai Tsuyoshi and Hashiri Makoto. On the school rooftop, Makoto and Tsukai praise the Oni-baku for their legendary fame. Makoto speculates that the Oni-baku have been with over a hundred women and reveals that he only has been with a couple of women, much to the Oni-baku's jealousy. Makoto and Tsukai surmise that the Oni-baku wouldn't want to meet a couple of girls who want to hook up with them. Ryuji and Eikichi "reluctantly" agree to meet the girls. While walking home, Eikichi rescues a Kyokuto High friend from two Enosho High bullies. They both head for the salon for a haircut. However, a mix-up causes Eikichi to receive a bald haircut that his friend wanted and beats up the hairdresser. While on the train ride home, the crowd laughs at Eikichi's ridiculously large hair/wig. He meets Makoto on the train as his wig gets stuck between the closing doors of the train. Makoto picks a fight with the Enosho High bullies from before with confidence that he has Eikichi to back him up. Eikichi, however, is unable to move with his wig stuck between the doors.
Chapter 7: "Ah, yes, the Legendary Oni-baku!" Eikichi contemplates that if he moves, all the girls on the train will see his bald head. While Makoto infuriates the Enosho High bullies further, Eikichi tries to blow them off without resorting to violence. The bullies soon discover that Eikichi's hair is stuck and attacks Makoto. Using Eikichi's situation to their advantage, the bullies pull down Eikichi's trousers and taunt him. No longer able to hold in his anger, Eikichi pulls off his wig and beats the bullies up. Back at school, Makoto proposes a plan to hide Eikichi's baldness. At a park, Ryuji meets up with the two girls that want to hook up and tells them about the time he and Eikichi first met. Makoto arrive and introduce Eikichi, whose hair is drawn on in pen. Ryuji and the two girls are speechless, and so...the legend ends.
Chapter 8: "Virgin Highway Offramp" At school, Ryuji and Tsukai mock Eikichi about how the two girls fled because of Eikichi's bald head and how he still wears a wig. Makoto wishes to make it up to Eikichi and presents tickets to the Culture Festival at the Ferris School for Girls, a school filled with the prettiest girls with a legend where girls will give their virginity to guys they like at the festival. The gang arrive at the festival and the Oni-baku are impressed at how well Makoto pick up girls and strives to beat him. At the end of the day, Eikichi boasts to Ryuji that he managed to get one hundred girls' phone numbers. They rush to a phone booth and much to Eikichi's disappointment, the first ninety-nine numbers are all fakes. On the hundredth call, a girl introducing herself as Yarita Aina picks up, causing Eikichi to be speechless. |
