3rd generation leader of the Hiratsuka Idaten gang. During this time, Fujisaki Shinomi caught his eye & he asked her to be his girlfriend. He told her that he loved her & would do anything for her. He took her virginity & made it clear that she was his property. She initially loved him & followed him everywhere but started to increase her absence in the Idaten gang rallies. He stopped seeing her for awhile when he found out that she liked someone from Tsujido. He later comes looking for Shinomi & confronts Eikichi upon discovering that Eikichi is Shinomi's crush. Eikichi reassures him that he sees Shinomi as a younger sister. That night at an Idaten rally, he angrily beats up some of his Idaten gang members for spreading rumours of Shinomi cheating on him. When his friend Nakai asks him if the rumours were true, he begs his friend to keep quiet. When Shinomi breaks it off with him & leaves the Idaten gang, he tells Nakai to keep quiet & speeds off to find Shinomi, knowing the consequences that Shinomi has to face if she deserts the gang. He finds her unconscious in the rain & takes her to hospital & stays by her side throughout her pneumonia. Upon leaving the hospital, he is confronted by Mitsuya, an old Idaten gang member, who reveals that he sent the Idaten gang to find Shinomi. He asks Takezawa to explain himself & Takezawa replies that he will follow the rules, even if Shinomi is his girl. He orders the Idaten gang to capture Shinomi and go ahead with the punishment at Hiratsuka Star Bowling, which involves Shinomi getting gang-raped. He stands outside the bowling alley & waits for Eikichi, who arrives to save Shinomi. Eikichi questions his actions & he states that as a leader, he has a duty to uphold. The two start to fight & Eikichi throws him through the window, interrupting the punishment. As the rest of the Idaten gang charges at Eikichi, he orders them to stop & challenges Eikichi to a one-on-one fight, stating that he will let Shinomi go if Eikichi wins. He proves to be no match for Eikichi & gets knocked down repeated. Mitsuya & the Idaten gang start to attack Eikichi, despite his orders for them to stop. They are stopped by Ryuji, Tsukai, Saejima, Makoto, Katsuyuki & the K. T. Butai, who arrive to backup Eikichi. Takezawa holds Shinomi hostage at knifepoint, stating that he can see what Shinomi sees in Eikichi. He tells Eikichi to stay back & apologises to everyone for the trouble. He tells everyone that he will settle it with himself & that in the end, he was too soft to be the Idaten gang's leader. He remembers Eikichi's words on how a real man takes care of his own woman & stabs himself in the stomach, declaring that this is how he will settle it. With his last breath, he tells Eikichi to take care of Shinomi.
He gets taken to hospital & Shinomi finally realises how much he loved her. She asks him if he wants anything & he replies that he only wants a kiss. However, he eventually breaks up with Shinomi, leaving a note on the hospital bed telling her to get more serious with her life. He leaves with Nakai to go to Tokyo for a job & retires as the Idaten gang leader. During the Midnight Angel arc, his gang & its new leader fall under the Midnight Angel's control. He returns to stop Akutsu from using his old gang to fight Eikichi. To Akutsu's surprise, the Idaten gang still respect Takezawa & refuses to follow Akutsu's orders & attack Takezawa. He stays to watch Eikichi's fight with Akutsu, confident that Eikichi will win. |
