Comes from a poor family from the small town of Iwamisawa in northern Hokkaido. He & his siblings work as paperboys in the early mornings to make ends meet & to accessorise himself to become a successful womaniser, believing that the three rules to being popular with women are: 1) possessing coolness & charm (through expensive clothing); 2) playing offence; & 3) endurance. He transfers to Tsujido from Iwamisawa & his womanising skills irritate the Oni-baku. He initially teaches them false tactics & theories about women but eventually reveals to the Oni-baku his true secrets after he discovers their immense strength & determination. Despite his constant intrusion to the Oni-baku's schemes of getting girls, they eventually become friends & he becomes a reliable ally. He participates in the Valentine's Day parade with his new Koenig Z but loses out to Makoto's cute animal themed car & eventually the Oni-baku's stolen Koenig Benz 500SL. He helps the Oni-baku come up with a plan when the owner of the stolen Koenig, Yokokawa Takashi, demands ransom money.
During the Kamakura Mad Dogs' return to Tsujido, he stands by the Oni-baku & is branded a traitor to Saejima & Kamata. He warns the Oni-baku of the Kamakura Mad Dogs' brutality & later gets beaten by Kamata. Despite his injuries, he still has his womanising touch, as seen when he is found to be having sex his nurse. He later escapes from hospital to take down Kamata but Ryuji beats him to it. He, along with Tsukai & Ito, provide backup for Ryuji during his fight with Kamata & stops Kamata's friends from interfering. During the Oni-baku get together in which everyone has set their sights on Kamata Kaoru, he is the first to be eliminated as his womanising abilities pose to be a threat to the others. He later interferes with the Oni-baku's scheme to get girls when they arrive at the grand opening of the famous disco, Jaharama, to find that all the girls have clustered around Abe. During the Fumiya arc, he, along with Tsukai & Makoto, rush to Eikichi's aid when he goes off to find Fumiya alone. He lends Ryuji his prized Honda CBX 1000 when Ryuji's CBX-400F gets trashed & fends off the police so Ryuji can escape & save Ayumi. He is eventually subdued by the police but is able to escape & save an unconscious Eikichi on the side of the road. His Honda CBX 1000 is seen to be totally trashed at the end of the Fumiya affair. During the Okubo arc, he offers Eikichi some money to pay Okubo's extortion threats. He later arrives as backup with Saejima, Kamata & Tsukai as Eikichi & Makoto gets ambushed by Okubo. He is present at various Oni-baku Gumi gatherings, such as Ryuji's surprise 16th birthday. Sometime later, he gives Makoto & Mami 50K Y as a gift upon finding out that Mami is pregnant & congratulates them. He is held back a year & ends up in the Oni-baku's class, 1-F, in which the homeroom teacher is the brutish Minamino Youka. He plans to ambush Minamino with Eikichi & Saejima but abandons the idea upon seeing Minamino's strength. He accompanies Eikichi & Saejima to Minamino's previous school, the Yushin Institute in Tokyo & discovers his secret, in which they use against him. During the Midnight Angel arc, he arrives with Kamata to save Katsuyuki & the K. T. Butai from Tamura & the Kamakura Massacre Unit. He is not seen again until the very end of the arc, in which he appears at the beach party to celebrate the Oni-baku's victory over Midnight Angel. The other Oni-baku members comment on his absence & he replies that he has entered priesthood. He visits Ryuji & Nagisa's bus & reveals to Eikichi about Ryuji losing his virginity |
